-I think my image is different compared to an ID photograph because my images are very carefree and relaxed. My model's in these images were just going with the flow and not forcing a smile on their face. All the images as a whole are very relaxed and not forced. -For the following images I used a very bright LED light placing it where I wanted the light to shine on my model the most, I also used a large piece of white paper which made a difference in the light and darks on my model's face. We also were able to use different backgrounds for our self portraits, there was a black background, a white background and one where it was mostly natural lighting which made a difference on the outcome of our image. -I think the mood that is set by the combination of lighting and my model creates a fun and happy mood most of them are o my models smiling or looking at something that they enjoy such as a flower or just smiling and having fun. -To heighten the mood I could have had my model's do something more complex when they posed for the image so you would really be able to tell the mood that I was trying to create when taking the image.
Double Exposure
-I selected these two images because in my portrait of Madi she has flowers around her and for my background I chose an image from previous work of twigs, I combined the two mostly because they both have to do with nature because of the flowers and twigs. I also liked how the black and white background of the twigs complimented the picture of Madi which was in color. -The message/mood combined in this image would be happiness I think this because Maddie is surrounded by flowers and flowers are usually something people enjoy and like to look at and overall send a happy message. This image I edited also makes me think of spring because of the nature involved and spring makes me happy because after a long winter spring puts me in a happy mood. -I think the fact that Madi looks like she is transparent through the twigs makes the image really unique and adds a sense of realism to the image because by making the image transparent it makes the image look more natural. -If I were to do this assignment again I would maybe darken the background of the image to make the image look more defined rather than have it so light in the background, although I do like the transparent affect.
Favorite Person, Place and Thing
- I think my images are successful they show my favorite, person, place and thing and are all edited well . -For my images I went very close up to my objects to show the importance of them or it. An image close up shows all their features and every special about them as an individual. -If I were someone favorite person I would want to be photographed smiling. I would want to be photographed smiling and close up because it shows all your features and what is special about you as an individual. A close up image also makes something or someone look important.
Greatest Hits
-I selected the first image because I liked how there was a focus on one particular part of the image. I selected the second image because I liked how the flower was the main focus and how everything in the background was blurred yet the flower was a very clear image. I selected the third image because I liked how the image made Maddi looked like she was moving from one spot, to the next spot to the next spot, it made her seem like she was in motion, with the blur effect. I selected the fourth image because again I liked how the focus on the phone was that one area, while the rest of the phone was blurred out. I selected the fifth image because I liked the edit on this image I took a portrait of Maddi and a picture of twigs that I had took and put Maddi over the image making the image look like one image. I selected the sixth image because I liked how the light was coming from Liv which made it look like it was apart of the image. -For the first image I did not do much editing I mostly just changed the size of the lens on the camera making one part of the image in focus and the other blurred. For my second image I played with the brightness and exposure tool to make the image look more clear. For the third image we did shutter speed and changed the aperture to make it look like Maddi was in motion but she was really just standing there. For my fourth image I did the same for the first image. For my fifth image I took the portrait of Maddi and a picture of twigs and placed Maddi over the twigs and layered the images and lowered the brightness to make Maddi look faded in the background of the image. For my sixth image we had the lights off in the PAC and used toy lights and swung them around making it the light look like it was bouncing off of Liv's head. -Most of my images are very straight forward none of them really fall at a specific angle, they all fit into the frame evenly without trying to cram anything in. -What makes my images unique are the fact that they are very well exposed and many of them are very bright in color besides the image of Liv in the PAC.
